My dentist swapped my silver filling for composite and the cold sensitivity comparison blew my mind
After 12 years with the same amalgam on my left molar, the new composite filling on the right side stopped hurting within a week while the old one still twinges every time I sip ice water, so has anyone else noticed their dentist downplaying how long silver fillings stay reactive?
