My ultrasonic scaler comparison went sideways after a week of daily use
I grabbed a cheap ultrasonic scaler off Amazon to handle plaque at home between cleanings. After 7 days my gums were way more sore than with my usual hand scraping routine, and one spot near my lower molar started bleeding. Turns out the cheap one vibrates way too hard for thin gum tissue, so I'm back to manual picks. Has anyone else had a bad reaction to those budget scalers, or did I just pick a dud brand?
