Serious question, did anyone else switch from a manual brush to an electric one and actually notice a difference?
I used a plain soft brush for about 15 years and figured an electric one was just a gadget for people with money to burn. Then my hygienist in Dayton showed me the little scrub marks on my gums at my cleaning in March and said I was pressing way too hard, which a powered brush with a pressure sensor would stop. I picked up a basic Sonicare on sale for $40 and after two months my gums quit bleeding when I floss and my last cleaning took 20 minutes instead of the usual 40. My old brush had no timer so I was probably done in 45 seconds most mornings. Has anyone else made the switch and found the cheap models work just as well as the $200 ones?

Read a dentist say the $40 ones clean just as well, it's the timer that matters.
