Can we talk about cleaning injectors with an ultrasonic tank versus just swapping them?

I had a 6.7 Cummins with a persistent miss, and a 30 minute cycle in my Hornady tank saved the old injectors. The shop wanted to sell me a whole new set for over two grand. What's your go-to method when you suspect they're just dirty?

Craig.piper is right about the bench setup being the real fix. My buddy tried the tank clean on his Duramax injectors and it was just a band-aid, they failed a month later. Sometimes you just can't beat a proper test and rebuild.

Honestly, that Hornady tank is great for a quick clean, but it's more for parts prep than a full fix. For a true injector clean, you need a proper bench setup that cycles fluid.
