Just read that a 6.7 Powerstroke's high-pressure fuel pump can fail from just one tank of bad diesel

Saw it in a tech bulletin from a shop in Boise. How do you guys even begin to protect against that kind of random luck?

Yeah, that bulletin is dead on. Watched a buddy's 2017 get towed in last fall from exactly that, one bad tank from a sketchy station off the interstate. The repair bill was brutal, like mortgage payment brutal. Honestly, it turned me into a fuel snob overnight, only truck stops I know are clean now. Feels like you're just rolling dice otherwise.
