Just realized I was wrong about running gear oil in the fuel on old 12 valves
A guy at the shop in Bakersfield bet me $50 my injectors would gum up within 500 miles, and he was right, I pulled them at 480 and they were coked bad. I used to think the old timers were just being cheap, but after scrubbing those tips for two hours I'm running straight diesel and a Lucas additive now. Anyone got a favorite injector cleaner that actually works or am I better off just pulling them every time?
