That $80 fuel filter housing bit me in Amarillo last Thursday
Rig came in with low rail pressure, codes pointing at the CP4. I swapped the filter and housing because the old one had cracks you could see with a flashlight. Two hours later it still stalled, turns out the return line check valve was stuck shut. That cheap housing was fine all along, I should have tested the valve before spending the customer's cash. Anybody else get burned by a part that looks obvious but isnt the real issue?
