Dropped $80 on a drawing tablet that barely works

Bought some no-name tablet off Amazon cause I was cheap and now the stylus skips every 5 seconds, making it useless for line art. Anyone else get burned by a budget tablet or did I just pick the wrong one?

Man, that sucks! I feel like this happens with so many cheap tech buys - you think you're being smart saving money, but it just ends up costing you more in frustration. @david_palmer's driver advice might save you though, I've seen that fix work before.

Wait, so you're telling me that DDU wipes everything including your saved profiles too? I've been using it wrong this whole time then, yikes.

Did you check if the driver needs reinstalling?" I remember reading somewhere that sometimes a fresh install can fix weird glitches that a simple update won't touch. Might be worth running DDU first to fully wipe the old driver before putting the new one on. Just a heads up though, that can reset some of your settings so save any profiles you have.
