Hot take: my old 2016 Wacom still beats the screen tablet I bought in 2022
I picked up a used Intuos Pro for $80 back in 2016 and last year dropped $450 on one of those standalone screen tablets, and the cheap old one still wins for me. The screen one looks great but my hand sits right where I'm drawing so I keep smudging it and losing the flow, while the Intuos keeps my eyes on the monitor where the whole piece lives. Took me about 3 months of fighting the new one to admit the $80 clunker was the better tool the whole time. Anyone else go back to a plain no-screen tablet after trying a screen one?
