Lost 6 hours of shading on a piece when Photoshop crashed in Austin, now I save every 10 minutes
Was about to finish a portrait for a gallery show in Austin last month when my PC froze and took 6 hours of work with it, because I never saved once. My buddy says auto-save makes people lazy and they stop thinking about file versions, but I say losing a full day of work is way worse than a little clutter. Where do you all land on this, do you trust auto-save or save manually like it's 2005?

Six hours without hitting save once? That's wild, I'd be checking the clock every five minutes after that nightmare.
