Messed up my color profile on a client piece, the print shop caught it
I sent a poster to a print shop in Austin and forgot to convert from RGB to CMYK, so the reds came out looking like muddy browns in their proof. The shop called me and said 'your file is going to print like a brick unless you switch this over.' I learned to always save a soft proof file before I send anything off, has anyone else had a color disaster slip through on a deadline?
