My Wacom pen died mid commission at 2am in Austin, so I taped it to a chopstick
I was 20 layers deep on a dragon piece when the pen tip just stopped reading, and the only spare I had was a cracked one from 2019. Wrapped the pen barrel in painter's tape and stuck it to a wooden chopstick for leverage, kept the same pressure curves and finished the piece. Has anyone else rigged a pen grip that actually stuck around longer than the real one?

That sinking feeling when your pen dies mid piece is the worst, especially at 2am with a deadline staring at you. The chopstick fix is honestly genius though, whatever gets the job done.
