Stumbled on a little gallery in Savannah that got me thinking about digital vs traditional

I was walking through City Market last weekend and this small place had a whole wall of iPad paintings that looked just like oil on canvas. Has anyone else found a physical spot that changed how you see your own digital work?

Did you catch that guy who argued iPads are just a new kind of brush?

Oh man, I totally get where that guy was coming from, @taylor_wells. For me, switching to a digital sketchpad was a game changer because I could undo mistakes in seconds without ruining a whole sheet of paper. I actually tried doing a watercolor study on my iPad and it felt weirdly similar to working with a real brush, just way cleaner and less messy. Idk, maybe it's just me but the whole undo button thing saved me so much time messing around with colors.

Wait, @blake_owens, have you tried printing digital stuff onto watercolor paper yet? It blows my mind how the texture comes through but all the mistakes are already fixed.
