Wasted $40 on a brush pack that had zero bristles

I bought this cheap digital brush set from some random site last week, thinking it was gonna be a steal for $40. Opened the file and every brush was basically just a solid circle, no texture or edge variation at all. Anyone else fall for these garbage packs before I waste money on the next one?

Have you checked if maybe they were downloaded at thumbnail size instead of full resolution? That's a common mistake that makes high-res brushes look like solid blobs.
