Watched a guy watermark his AI generated art across the whole canvas yesterday

Saw someone in a digital art group post this landscape piece that was clearly run through Stable Diffusion. The clouds had that weird melting look, grass was growing out of rocks in impossible directions. But he slapped a huge watermark across the middle like he painted it himself. Made me wonder if people even look at their own outputs before claiming them. Has anyone else noticed more of this in showcase threads lately?

Changed my mind on this honestly. Used to not care but now I get it.

Didn't someone post about a guy watermarking a meme template he traced last week too?

Posted in a woodworking group last week and a guy was selling a CNC carved cutting board with the grain pattern obviously run through a filter. Same deal, big logo watermark across it like he designed the wood itself. Its not just art threads either, people do the same thing with recipes they found on Pinterest or workout plans they copy pasted. The end result is always the same, you get called out hard and the thread gets locked.
