A tile guy in Dallas told me to soak my sponge in a bucket, not the mortar pan, and my grout lines got cleaner overnight
I was helping him on a 60 sq ft bathroom floor and he said dirty water is what smears the joints, not the grout itself. Do you swap sponges every few tiles or just rinse and keep going?
