My uncle watched me caulk a tub and asked why I was doing it twice
He was visiting from Boise a few weeks ago and saw me running a second bead over the first one because I thought more was better. He laughed and said one smooth pass with the right amount beats three messy ones, and that corners pool water if you glob it on. Now I'm wondering how many other jobs I've been doubling up on out of pure habit, what's something you used to overdo until someone called it out?
