Question about mixing concrete for small footings
I built a 6x8 shed pad last weekend and used a cheap Harbor Freight mixer I got for $80, but every batch came out crumbly no matter how much water I added. Turned out the concrete mix I grabbed had a 2022 date on it and was probably old and bad. Has anyone else had issues with concrete that sat on the shelf too long?

Doubt the concrete was actually bad, probably just a mixing issue.

Poor mix ratios seem to be the culprit in half these jobs these days. Always rough for the crew who has to live with the consequences though.
