Remember when you had to mix joint compound by hand in a bucket?

I used to spend twenty minutes with a drill and a paddle, getting dust everywhere. Now I just grab a box of the pre-mixed stuff, and it's done in two. Anyone else feel like that small change saved their sanity on drywall projects?

Progress in a bucket is right, but is it even about the time saved? That pre-mixed stuff just takes one more variable out of the whole messy job. No more guessing if you added enough water or if it'll be lumpy. It lets you focus on the actual work instead of fighting the material. Sometimes the best upgrades are the simple ones you don't have to think about.

Ever tried the stuff on a bigger job like a whole wall?
