The cheap laser level I laughed at actually did the job

Picked up a $25 laser level from Harbor Freight just to hang some kitchen cabinets last month, figured itd be junk. That thing got my upper run perfectly level across a 12 foot span, no bubble vials or chalk lines needed. Anyone else have a budget tool that surprised them or do I just got lucky?

Did it hold its calibration after a few drops or just that one time?
