My attempt to build a simple planter box ended with a squirrel stealing my level.

Oh perfect, the squirrel union is expanding its tool collection. I had a robin that kept stealing the shiny metal washers right out of my parts tray. I'd turn around and another one would be gone. Found a little pile of them later under a bush, like some kind of bird bank heist. They're worse than having a toddler on the job site.

That squirrel now has the only level surface in my entire yard. My last project has a noticeable list to port because I had to eyeball it.

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I've got a blue jay that keeps swiping my painter's tape right off the sawhorse. I swear, I set up my whole leveling rig once and a crow just walked right in and started inspecting it like a tiny foreman. Then it tried to fly off with my chalk line. They're smarter than we give them credit for, honestly. At this point I'm thinking of just setting up a decoy level surface with some birdseed just to keep them away from the real work.
