A client's offhand comment about my line weights made me switch up my whole layer system.

They said the details on a mechanical drawing were getting lost because everything was too uniform. Now I use a specific set of three weights for object, hidden, and center lines in every file. Anyone else have a simple rule that cleaned up their drawings?

Got to love when one random comment sends you down a week-long system redesign rabbit hole. I mean, my layers were a mess before someone pointed out my dimensions looked like spaghetti. Now I just have a strict "no more than five colors" rule for everything.
