DAE think people are way too sloppy with their layer naming?
I just finished a project where I had to fix someone else's CAD file. They had layers named 'stuff', 'new', and 'layer1'. Took me 3 hours just to figure out what was what. A good naming system saves everyone time and headaches. How do you guys organize your layers?

I'm guilty of a 'temp' layer that's been in my last five projects. It's a problem.

Layer1" is the worst, had that happen last week.

Gasped when I read that @beth_kelly... you actually had to deal with a whole project where somebody just slapped everything on Layer1? That's just asking for trouble. I'd lose my mind trying to find anything in that mess. Last time I saw someone do that, they had twenty different shapes all stacked on top of each other and couldn't even click the right one. Makes me wonder if some people even look at the layers panel before they start working. Hope you didn't waste too much time untangling that disaster.
