Got called out on my detail callouts by a senior checker

Honestly, I was doing a set of steel shop drawings and the checker wrote 'This is a fabrication drawing, not a puzzle' right on my PDF. He said my callouts were jumping all over the sheet, making the welders hunt for info. I changed my whole system that day, now I group all notes and flags for each piece in one clear zone on the sheet. Has anyone else had a checker give them that kind of blunt, helpful fix?

But what if the puzzle has a logic to it? I get what @vera29 is saying, but sometimes the order tells the story of how it's built.

Yeah, that's the kind of feedback that actually sticks with you. Makes you realize the people on the floor need the info fast, not in some clever order.
