I spent 3 hours aligning layers in AutoCAD for a drawing that only paid $120

Rookie mistake, I hand-drew every detail instead of using the align command because I thought I was faster that way, and by the time I realized how dumb that was I had already missed dinner, so has anyone else ever gotten stuck in a workflow rut like that and how did you break out of it?

Man I've been there with the align command thing, spent a whole afternoon once placing 40+ furniture blocks by hand before I realized I could just use align and Minsert together, felt like a total goober. The thing that broke me out of it was just forcing myself to watch a 5 minute youtube shortcut video before starting any new task, now I check for a quicker way before I dive in headfirst.

Oh man, that 40 block thing is brutal lol. I feel your pain, it's so easy to just keep grinding instead of stopping to think for a second.

Spent a full day once doing the same thing before I facepalmed into YouTube.
