My big drawing file crashed right before a client review in Chicago

I was finishing a floor plan for a downtown loft project when my whole screen froze and the program shut down, losing about two hours of work. I remembered the auto-save folder and managed to recover a version from fifteen minutes earlier, which saved the day. What's your go-to backup plan when a file decides to quit on you?

Used to ignore auto-save, but losing a big file changed my mind fast.

Glad you found the auto-save. I save a new copy every time I take a break.

Yeah that's smart, @scott.alex. I've lost work before by not saving enough. Your method of saving a new copy is a solid safety net. Makes the whole process way less stressful.
