Question about translating scaling notes between different CAD programs

I was working on a set of floor plans last week for a client in Richmond, and I noticed my dimensions from AutoCAD were coming out weird when I imported them into Fusion 360. Turns out the scaling factor between the two programs isn't 1:1 if you don't set the units right upfront. I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out why a 10 foot wall was showing as 120 inches but then some other line was off by a quarter inch. Has anyone else run into this glitch when moving files between different drafting software?

Honestly that whole scaling thing is a nightmare, I've been there too many times. The worst part is when you think you've got it dialed in and then some random line is off by a tiny amount and you have to recheck everything. Tbh I swear half the time I just end up redrawing the whole thing from scratch rather than messing with imports.

Wait you actually redraw the whole thing from scratch? That's wild lmao. I get the frustration though, sometimes fighting with the import tool takes longer than just doing it manually. I've definitely spent way too long tweaking a single line that ended up looking worse than if I just redrew it.
