Saw a huge difference in my line weights after switching to a 0.3mm mechanical pencil
I used to draw with a standard 0.5mm for everything and my details always looked mushy. Last month I grabbed a cheap 0.3mm from the art store and suddenly my hatch lines are way cleaner. Anyone else notice that change when they sized down?

Started using a 0.3mm for sketching and now my pencil shavings look way more impressive for some reason.

Saw a post where someone said fine leads actually make sharper shavings because the wood cuts cleaner with less pressure. Have you noticed a difference in dust too?
