The cad file that went missing on a Friday in Tulsa

I lost 6 hours of utility layout work when the network drive hiccuped near quitting time, and the backup was stale by 2 hours. Turns out our local autosave folder was full of temp garbage no one checks, has anyone else had IT ignore the "pending" location for revision sets?

The timer on my phone said 5 hours and 47 minutes, but it sure felt longer. Did you actually get through what you planned, or did you end up chasing something else down a rabbit hole? I always tell myself I'll knock out a quick task and then next thing I know, the sun's going down. Was this a work thing or a personal project? Just trying to figure out if this kind of time sink is normal for everyone else too.
