Vent: That time a senior drafter told me to ignore paper sizes

Old guy named Dave from my first drafting job swore I should never worry about paper size settings until the very end. He said it just wastes time and you can fix it later. Well I listened for 6 months and it backfired hard. Had to redo a whole set of construction docs for a warehouse in Toledo because the title block got cut off. Lost about 3 days fixing margins and scaling. Has anyone else had bad advice from a veteran that cost you time?

Yep, same thing happened to me with an old engineer. Total nightmare.

My cousin's old pickup did the same thing, wouldn't start if it was raining too hard.

My car just stalls if I look at it sideways.
