Vent: That week last spring when every single dimension was wrong

I had a whole week last spring where I couldn't get a single dimension right on a commercial remodel in Santa Fe. First day I read a 24 foot wall as 42 feet, caught it after framing was half up. Then I mislabeled a door schedule and ordered 7 interior doors 2 inches too short. Cost me $300 in restocking fees and a full Saturday fixing my own mistakes. What finally snapped me out of it was setting my coffee cup on a set of plans and realizing I was working off a revision from 3 months ago. Anyone else ever have a week where your brain just decides to sabotage your own drawings?

The coffee cup on old plans thing hit close to home. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at how dumb you can be.

Did you actually catch it before they started building or was it already too late?

Wait, did you actually spot it in time or was it just sitting there on the page staring back at you lol? @kevinw94 I totally feel that coffee cup thing, like I once spent three days trying to figure out why a door wouldn't close and turns out I had the whole frame flipped around in my head. These little brain farts are the worst but at least we can all laugh about em later right.
