Wrote off layer standards for 6 years, then a sheet from a guy in Tulsa changed my whole setup
I always drew everything on one layer and just changed colors when I needed to tell lines apart. A drafter I met on a Tulsa job handed me one of his old sheets and I could turn off the hidden lines, the dims, the text, all of it, in about two seconds. Mine took me ten minutes of clicking just to find one wall. I did one small remodel plan his way last week and cut my cleanup time from 45 minutes to about 8. Anyone got a layer naming setup they actually stick to, or do you just run with the AIA defaults?
