Bought a $340 "self-cleaning" cutterhead pump off a guy in Gulfport and it quit in three weeks
Guy swore it was barely used and showed me a video of it running in his shop. It started knocking after maybe 40 hours of light spoil work and the wear plate was worn past spec when I pulled it apart. Any of you had luck getting a used pump checked out before handing over cash, or do you just skip anything without paperwork?
