A taped joint critique made me switch my mud brand after 8 years
An inspector in Dayton told me my finish was fine but my setting compound was too soft for the humidity, so I swapped to a harder brand and now my sanding time dropped by about 20 minutes per room. I always thought it was technique, not the material, but that one comment changed my whole routine. Anyone else had a small tweak like this turn out to be a bigger deal than you expected?
