Came around on hot mud after 15 years of hating it
I've been a die hard all purpose guy forever, but my foreman Rick out of the Cedar Rapids job kept pushing me to try hot mud on butt joints. Watched him coat a whole 32 foot wall in about 8 minutes one morning and it hit me, I was fighting the clock on every job for no real reason. Been running the 20 minute bag on my last three punch lists now and my sanding time is way down. Anyone else switch late or am I the last guy to figure this out?

Switched last year too, sanding time dropped big. Never going back.
