My stilts gave out on a ceiling job in Mesa and I'm spooked to get back up
Was hanging board on a 12 foot ceiling in Mesa on Tuesday and about 45 minutes in, the strap on my right stilt let go. I came down hard, took out a bucket of mud and a corner of fresh board, and my wrist is still sore. The straps were maybe 2 years old but I never really checked them past a quick tug. Anyone got a way to check stilt straps before they let you down, or a brand that actually holds up?
