Picked up a used hot mud mixer in Columbus for $40, what a game changer

Old guy was retiring and sold me his mixer plus a spare paddle, took 15 minutes off my taping setup time on Tuesday. Anyone else buy used gear from retiring guys and find it works better than the new stuff?
