The paint roller trick that fixed my drywall texture matches
I used to think texture spraying was all about the gun settings, but a guy in Tacoma showed me how using a standard paint roller to knock down fresh mud before it sets makes everything look uniform. Tried it on a ceiling patch last month and the orange peel blend came out perfect, no more sanding and respraying three times. The key is rolling with light pressure within 15 minutes of spraying, and it costs zero extra dough. Has anyone else tried this on larger rooms or does it only work for small repairs? I'm curious if a full 12x12 bedroom would behave the same way.

The texture on a 12x12 gonna set quicker in the middle of the room if you're rolling slow, so maybe hit the edges first and work inward fast. That's the part nobody talks about, the timer starts the second spray hits the wall.

Found that trick works better than fiddling with a sprayer for sure.
