Vent: That fancy auto-taper attachment I swore was a gimmick
Bought one of those automatic taper attachments off a guy in Toledo for $120, figured it'd be a paperweight. Used it on a 3,000 square foot basement job this month and it laid that tape flat as glass, even around the corner beads. Anyone else find a tool they mocked actually saved them a full day of mudding?

That taper makes the corner beads look factory done, nobody believes I didn't pay a crew for that part. The trick is it stops being a gimmick the second you've got a deadline and bad knees.
