Watch out for that one inspector in Tulsa, he will fail you over nothing
I was finishing a basement remodel off I-44 and the inspector walked in, pointed at a corner bead seam and said the mud was too thick there. He didn't even run a straight edge, just eyeballed it and told me to tear out 8 feet of tape. I told him I'd redo it but he insisted on coming back the next morning to check, cost me a full day of work. Has anyone else dealt with that guy or is it just me?

That inspector sounds like a nightmare to deal with. Losing a whole day because he wanted to nitpick a corner bead you know is fine, that is brutal. I've had similar happen where they get a little power hungry and just want to prove they can make you squirm. The worst part is you can't really argue with them or they'll just find something else to fail you on later. I hope the redo went smooth and that guy retires soon.
