Guy on a job in Reno told me to stop twisting solid wire clockwise, and my joints got way cleaner
I'd been making up receptacles the same way for 12 years, just twisting the loop whichever way felt natural, usually clockwise. He said the loop should go on so tightening the screw pulls it closed instead of spreading it open, and after 2 panels worth of devices I could feel the difference. Anybody else got a small habit like that someone called out on site?

Wait, clockwise was making your joints WORSE this whole time?? Twelve years of doing it backwards feels like a crime honestly.
