I finally stopped using wire nuts on everything after a job in Houston last month
Spent 10 years twisting nuts onto every connection until a master electrician pulled me aside and showed me how much faster Wagos are, so now I only use nuts on 10 AWG and bigger, anyone else make the switch late?

You really think Wagos are that much faster? I timed myself once. Maybe 10 seconds saved per box. Not exactly life changing. And I've had those little orange levers snap off in my hand when it was cold out. Wire nuts just work, no fuss. If it's not broke, why fix it?

Had a batch of Wagos freeze up on me last winter too @david_palmer, that changed my mind fast enough.

Yeah @dylan_ward I had the same thing happen with those orange levers. I switched back to wire nuts after that. Just felt better to me even if it takes a few extra seconds.
