Old foreman told me to trust the torque wrench, I didn't. 3 star drives later I get it.
Back in 2018 my foreman in Phoenix kept yelling at me to stop going by feel and use the torque wrench on panel lugs. I blew off 3 terminal screws on a 200 amp panel last Tuesday, customer lost power for 4 hours, and that old guy's voice popped right back into my head. Anybody else learn a basic rule the hard way after years of doing it wrong?

Man, same here with underground feeder wires, torqued by hand and melted the neutral bar.
