That whole week on the Clark & Addison rehab was cursed, then saved

Honestly, last spring I had a week on a 5 story walkup in Chicago that was brutal. Monday we opened a wall and found knob and tube behind it, 1900s stuff, not even covered. Had to stop everything and call the inspector. Then Wednesday the panel we ordered for the 3rd floor was the wrong size, 200 amp vs 225, my foreman just stood there shaking his head. But the weird part, Friday afternoon the homeowner brought out these old photos of the building from 1958 and pointed out where the original service entrance was. We found a whole junction box that had been covered for decades, no one knew it existed. That saved our ass on the final rough in, gave us a straight shot to the new meter. Has anyone else had a job where some random history lesson ended up being the fix?
