The homeowner who flipped out over a $60 outlet swap
Last Tuesday in Austin, I was doing a quick receptacle change in a kitchen and this older guy kept hovering over my shoulder. He watched me shut off the breaker, test the wires, and do the whole thing by the book. When I handed him the bill for $60, he said "my nephew could've done that for a six pack." I just packed up my tools and told him to call his nephew when the AFCI starts tripping next month. Has anyone else had a customer downplay the work while you're literally standing there with a voltage tester in your hand?

A buddy of mine had the same thing happen doing a thermostat swap. The guy watched him label every wire and take photos before pulling anything, then asked why it cost $85. Two weeks later the same guy called back begging him to fix the mess his nephew made with the wiring.

@jamesc79 cousin probably didn't even check the wiring diagram first, did he?
