A customer at my shop in Dayton told me my repair notes were a mess, so I switched to a checklist
He was right, my handwritten notes had no order, and I was wasting 10 minutes hunting for part numbers on every comeback job. Now I staple a printed checklist to each ticket and fill in the voltages and part numbers in the same spot every time. Anybody got a checklist format they like for board level work?
