Desoldering braid was my crutch for 3 years until a $9 pump beat it

I used to think wick was the only way to clear through-holes on old boards, but a cheap spring pump from the hardware store in Tulsa cleared a jammed PS4 controller pad in 30 seconds flat, anyone else switch back and forth based on the joint size?

Man, that $9 pump sounds like a lifesaver. I had the same thing happen with an old stereo board, wick just wasn't cutting it and the pump cleared it out like magic. Now I grab whichever is closer, honestly.
