Am I the only one who switched to logging every call on a notepad instead of my phone app?
A 30 year guy on a job in Buffalo told me his phone died mid rescue and he lost 4 hours of fault codes, so I grabbed a $1.50 pocket notebook from the supply room and haven't looked back. Anyone else still keep paper backups or am I just old school now?
A $1.50 notebook from the supply room outlasting a phone that died mid rescue sounds about right. So the plan is to trust a device that needs charging, drops calls, and glitches out, but a sheet of paper is the unreliable one? That Buffalo guy basically paid for your whole new system with one dead battery. I still keep a pad in my truck and it has never once needed an update or asked me for my password. Funny how the old way keeps winning when the new way runs out of juice.
