Door zone sensor kept tripping on a 2012 KONE, drove me nuts all Tuesday
Was doing a PM on a 12-stop KONE in a downtown Des Moines office and the door kept reversing for no reason. Checked the sensor alignment, cleaned the lenses, even swapped the photocell, still did it. Ended up finding the issue was a sagging door track shim that shifted the door just enough to bounce the signal. Has anyone else dealt with a phantom zone trip that turned out to be mechanical, not electrical?
