Showerthought: The worst call I ever had was for a stuck car in a hospital elevator.
Got a panic call Friday from St. Mary's because a transport gurney got wedged in the door track on the 3rd floor. Took me and my partner two hours to get it free without damaging the guide rails. What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever had to extract from an elevator door?

Remember a call where a guy tried to move a full arcade machine by himself. Got the thing halfway into the elevator on the second floor and it just... locked up the whole system. The side panel was jammed so deep into the track we had to take the door apart.

Two hours for a gurney... that's a new level of bad. I once saw a maintenance crew spend a whole morning trying to get a janitor's floor buffer out of a door on the ground floor.

Honestly rosecarr, that sounds like a normal Tuesday for any crew dealing with bulky gear.
